β€œThe artistic image is not intended to represent the thing itself, but, rather, the reality of the force the thing contains.”

I was born in Costa Rica, before spending my childhood on the West Coast of New Zealand, and finally my teenage years and adulthood in Australia.

This combination of places, cultures and identities fascinates me, and influences my approach to photographic work.

i favour film for its ability to immortalise the ephemeral, transient moments of life, Including the spaces we feel connected to, places we call home.

The film work seen here is part of an ongoing exploration of what home means in a transient, global community.
